Tawny Kitaen

Kitaen gained widespread recognition for her performances in a variety of rock music videos, including Ratt's (1984) "Back for More" Whitesnake's ("Still of the Night") and Whitesnake's ("Is This Love") (all 1987). In the late 2000s, Kitaen started appearing in reality television shows, including Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew (2008) which explored Kitaen's struggles with addiction. Julie Kitaen was the youngest of three children. She was born in San Diego in 1961 to Linda Kitaen (nee Taylor) who was an actress and former beauty pageant participant and Terry Kitaen who worked for the business of neon signs. Kitaen was born to a Russian-Jewish father as well as an Scottish mother. Kitaen was educated Jewish. When she was at the age of 12 she began to make use of the name "Tawny", which she created on her own initiative.
