(1996) which follows the rise and decline of a popular 1960s group as well as the role of a producer. Time magazine's Richard Schickel described his performance as "charming" and the majority of people who reviewed the film agreed that Hanks' portrayal has earned him a place among the top romantic comedy actors of the time.
