Alissa White-Gluz

Alissa is the former leading singer for the metalcore Canadian group The Agonist. She currently sings with the Swedish melody-death metal band Arch Enemy. Alissa White-Gluz (born July 31st, 1985) is an Canadian singer who is best known as the lead vocalist of the Swedish melody-based death metal band Arch Enemy, and former singer-songwriter and founder of the Canadian metalcore band the Agonist. She sings with a grunt and a growl. (clean vocals) are a part of her unique vocal style. She is mainly associated with the genres of metalcore and melodic Death, although she's performed together with Nightwish, Tarja Turunen, Delain as well as Powerwolf. The Agonist (2004-2014) In 2004, White-Gluz formed the Agonist (then known as "Tempest") with the band's co-leaders Danny Marino and Chris Kells in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. White-Gluz recorded three albums while she was the lead singer for the Agonist. She left at the beginning of spring 2014 when she accepted the offer to sing for Arch Enemy. Alissa Alissa Alissa
