Kari Samantha (born on April 28 in 1967) Wuhrer is an American actor and singer. Her career began when she was an teen and is most well recognized for her role as Maggie Beckett in the television series Sliders as well as her role as the Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), who is a payroll manager, and German American Andrew Wuhrer, an officer in the police force and a car salesman. She has 3 siblings. When she was a teenager, she sang in nightclubs and would sneak out of the family home to perform. She began studying acting at the age of 13 at the Wooster School. Later, she studied drama at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, Columbia University, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts alongside renowned teacher Uta Hagen.Kari Samantha Wuhrer is an American model, actress and singer.
