Lisa Edelstein has been an American actress for over 20 years. She is most well-known for her performance in House on Fox. Raised in Wayne in conservative Jewish tradition, she moved in New York City at the age of eighteen to study acting at the Tisch school of arts. The school was very active in the club scene, creating enough of a stir to attract the interest of the media. Then, she used her experience and fame along with her personal training to both write and present a program called Positive Me. Her first gig was with MTV as host of Awake on The Wild Side shortly after. After the show was finished it was time to join the film and television productions. She started with small parts and established herself in the process of becoming an actor.
