Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe comes from a multi-cultural household. Born within South London. The father of her is Nigerian as well as Swiss as well as her mom is English. She was born on the southern part of London Council Estate, and then attended The Brit School aged 14. She pursued acting studies in The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. While attending the school, she appeared in numerous stage productions, such as the King Henry V as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe's acting journey began in the series Storm Damage. Since then, she has been a guest star on Teachers, Doctors, Casualty as well as Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe made her debut motion picture in the 2007 Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. Her popularity resulted in her being cast as Elisha in a one-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. Later, she appeared in six episodes Trexx and Flipside in the role of Ollie. She also landed the part of Bambi in The ITV2 Drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl and was featured in the three and two series. Madekwe was a part of the comedy How to Lose Friends and Alienate people (2008). She also appeared in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path which was written composed by David Watson.
Madekwe officially made her US debut on The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show aired just two episodes on The CW, and was later cancelled. In February of 2011, she was cast as Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. After being a regular for the first two seasons it was announced in May 2013 that Madekwe would quit the show following a guest appearance in the pilot episode from the 3rd season. From 2014-2016, Madekwe starred in the role of Tituba in the TV series Salem. Madekwe wed her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg in June 2012. Together, they worked on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. He was also a part of the cast with her on Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with an extended family. Her parents Roy and Patty, as well as her brothers Brett, Todd, and Bram and Bram, were present. Ashley grew in arenas or baseball parks since her four athletic brothers all played baseball, hockey, and basketball in summer and winter. Ashley never actually walked -she did dance, so at the age of two and a half she began Baby Ballet -and she fell in love. Ashley began to develop a love of dancing when she began the Baby Ballet. Ashley performed in competitive ballet, jazz and tap in high divisions. Ashley took home the best soloist prize at each major dance competition, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance among the few.
