Kelly Clarkson was an American artist and songwriter who was America's Sweetheart after she was crowned American Idol during the very first season of the show. The win not only catapulted her to fame, but also earned an album deal together with RCA Records 19 Recordings and S Records. The singer has since released numerous recordings from her studio. A trio of her albums made the US Billboard 200 chart, however, others narrowly missed the mark. She's among the most popular stars to come out from American Idol. In the years that followed her success, she tried different genres and themes, frequently co-writing her songs in accordance of her personal beliefs. Her work was praised by critics and several prestigious awards in recognition of her uniqueness and vocal prowess. The Grammy Award was presented to her Grammy Award 3 times.
