Simone Biles

Simone Biles was an American gymnast born March 14, 1997 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. Biles is believed to be one of the greatest gymnasts. The 2016 Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at one Games and she was the first gymnast in history to win three consecutive all-around world championships (2013-15). Biles is from Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) adopted them. The Biles family grew up in the Houston metropolitan area. Simone started to develop the sport of gymnastics seriously as an infant in a school field trip to Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach over the following 11 years. Biles achieved a silver medal at vault in 2010 and a bronze at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. She then moved up to elite-level competitions in the year 2011. She was the most dominant in her sport just two years later.
